The Piano Division at the Benjamin T. Rome School is proud to announce the launching of a new concert series: The Washington International Piano Series at CUA. The first 2012-13 concert season will include one Piano Gala, 6 faculty and 3 guest-artist recitals. All concerts will be performed on our new 9-ft New York Steinway D concert grand in Ward Recital Hall. The opening concert is on Monday, Nov. 19, at 8pm. I hope you can come and hear a great French pianist, a Piano Professor at the Paris Conservatory, who is playing a unique program (Debussy Preludes Book 1 plus 12 contemporary French piano pieces; every Debussy prelude will be followed by a modern piece). The Piano Gala on Dec. 2 will be spectacular; it will feature performances by all piano faculty, piano alums, school of music faculty, guest artists and current students. Do not miss it! And please invite your friends and family members.
Best wishes,
Ivo Kaltchev
